Users can adjust game size (Standard or Expanded), background color (Light or Dark mode), and toggle game sounds on or off.
When you start a Lumosity game, you’ll see a small Game Settings menu at the top of your screen. These quick settings let you adjust your gameplay experience — without leaving the game.
🧱 Game Size
You can choose how large you want the game to appear on your screen:
Standard: The default size — fits neatly in your browser window.
Expanded: A larger game view for better visibility and focus.
To change it, click the square icon ( ☐ ) in the Game Settings bar and select your preferred option.
💧 Background Color
Prefer a lighter or darker background while you play? You can toggle between two modes:
Light: The default bright background.
Dark: A softer background that’s easier on the eyes, especially in dim lighting.
Click the drop icon ( 💧 ) to switch between Light and Dark.
🔊 Game Sounds
Choose whether you want sound effects on during gameplay:
On: Hear the in-game audio and feedback sounds.
Off: Play quietly — great for focus or shared spaces.
