If you're experiencing issues like lag, crashes, trouble opening the app or games, try these basic steps below based on your device:
iPhone or iPad
- Check your connection: Make sure you’re on WiFi and not using a VPN.

Free up space & update the app:
- Check for storage space.
- Go to the App Store, search “Lumosity,” and tap Update if available.

Force close the app
- iPhones with a Home button: Double-click the Home button and swipe up on Lumosity.
- iPhone X and later: Swipe up from the bottom and pause, then swipe up on Lumosity.

Restart your device
- Hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears, then slide to power off.
- Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again to turn it back on.

Reinstall the app
- Delete the app by holding the icon and tapping the "X."
- Reinstall it from the App Store.
Note: You’ll be logged out. Your stats and progress will sync when you log back in online.
Mobile reminders will reset.
Android Devices

- Go to Settings → Apps → Lumosity → Tap Force Stop.

- Settings → Apps → Lumosity → Storage → Tap Clear Cache.

Reinstall the app
- In the Play Store, uninstall Lumosity, then reinstall it.
You’ll be logged out, so keep your login info handy.
Your stats will sync once you play a game and are logged in online.
