We currently offer the Lumosity website and App in the following languages.
English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Japanese, and Korean.
You can change your language on the Lumosity website by going to your Account Settings. Scroll to the bottom of the page, and you’ll see a language dropdown where you can select your preferred language.
The mobile app language is tied to your device’s system language, not an in‑app setting. That means if your device is set to English, the Lumosity app displays in English. To use a different language, you need to change your phone’s OS language settings. Here are simple instructions you can follow to change the language.
iOS (iPhone/iPad)
If you're on iOS 13 or later, you can change the language for Lumosity without changing your entire system language:
- Open the Settings app.
- Scroll down and tap on Lumosity (listed with your installed apps).
- Tap Language.
- Select your preferred language from the list.
🔁 Restart the app if needed to see the changes reflected.
Android 14 (and above) Per‐App Language Support
Android 14 introduced per‑app language switching, so you don’t have to change your system-wide language:
- Settings → System → Languages & input → App Languages.
- Select Lumosity from the list.
- Pick your preferred language from the options the app supports.
- Please note that in versions in languages other than English currently offer a smaller selection of games. Our Games team is actively working on expanding the library of games across all supported languages, though we can’t share a timeline just yet.
Android 13 and below
- Open your device’s Settings → System → Languages & input → Languages.
- Add your desired language as a secondary language if it’s not already in the list.
- The Lumosity app will use the highest-priority system language it supports.
So to change Lumosity’s language, you’ll need to either change the device’s system language entirely or add your preferred language to the top of the list.
