Game Instructions
In Lost in Migration, the flock stays in one spot and your goal is to determine the direction that the middle bird is facing (which may or may not be in the same direction as the other birds.) Press the corresponding arrow keys to submit an answer.
For the example below, you want to press the up arrow key since the middle bird is facing up.
You can review instructions for any of our games at any time. On the website, click How to Play before starting the game. Or, during the game, click the pause (II) button in the top-left corner and then select How to Play.
In the mobile app, then tap the question mark (?) to the left of the Play button before starting. Or, during the game, tap pause (II) at the top-left of the screen and then tap How To Play from the menu that appears.
Scoring & Levels
Each correct answer is worth 50 points times the current multiplier bonus. Keeping up a high multiplier bonus is the best way to achieve high scores.
Your multiplier is shown to the right of the score box.
The key to increasing your multiplier is consistency; each correct answer adds one dot to the multiplier meter. After four correct answers in a row, the current multiplier increases by 1 (up to a maximum of 10) and resets the meter. At the end of the game, you're given additional bonus points which are awarded based on your current multiplier.
While you don’t lose points for incorrect answers, they decrease the meter by one dot (unless it's already empty, in which case the multiplier bonus reduces by 1.)
